This is how you wash and care:

Jute

Jute is a durable fiber that is grown in the countries where our products are manufactured. Thanks to new preparation methods, you can produce a soft and natural yarn with a silky luster that is grateful to weave, bleach and dye if you wish.

• Vacuum clean or shake regularly
• Stains and spots to be removed with a damp cloth
• To avoid bleching keep the products away from direct sunlight
• Indoor use only
• Baskets to be used as plant holders, put a water protector inside
• The products cannot withstand soaking in water

The jute fiber is a biodegradable product, just like most things are eventually, although it is a matter of time. Now a number of producers in southern India have joined forces to find out how long it takes before a jute rug is really composted, i.e. decayed.

Seagrass

Seagrass that in its dried form becomes both strong and flexible and thus optimal for braiding into naturally simple and durable products for home – and office environments. In Bangladesh where the grass is growing and baskets are made by hand, they know the art of making amazing utility items from this easily available plant fiber.

• Shake or wipe clean with a damp cloth
• Gently remove any stains with a dish brush and a small amount of water

Rubber

Natural rubber is mixed with recycled rubber from manufacturing and becomes our practical and stylish door mats. High-quality rubber withstands most climates and feels just as good on the outside as it does on the inside.

• Vacuum or rinse with water to clean
• Be careful if shaking the doormat
• Both indoor and outdoor use
• Withstands outdoor use in all weathers

It is discussed how to further extend the life of a rubber mat. The product is almost indestructible, but it loses some of its luster over time.

Water hyacinth

Water hyacinth is an invasive weed, the use of which prevents the clogging of many fresh watercourses in Vietnam. It is precisely where many of our beautiful, unique and timeless storage baskets are made by hand with great care.

• Vacuum or wipe off with a damp cloth.

Sisal

Rugs made from sisal are naturally strong and suitable for most indoor spaces. We are a little extra fond of the sisal fiber because it also absorbs more carbon dioxide than it produces, which benefits the environment.

• Indoor use only
• Shake or vacuum clean
• Stains to be removed with a damp cloth
• The products cannot withstand soaking in water

Flax

The fibers of the flax plant become the linen yarn that is woven into a beautiful table cloth. Linen is one of our oldest and most popular materials in interior design, and it’s completely understandable when you see the result.

• Shake or rinse in lukewarm water to freshen up
• Remove stains gently with a dish brush and detergent
• Iron on medium heat between two towels if necessary
